HOLIDAY HISTORIC HOME TOUR, BETHLEHEM
Saturday December 6 2:00-4:00 PM Dawn Cottage, 60 Lewis Hill Road. Open to the public for a family-friendly, free tour, offers a rare glimpse into Bethlehem's storied past as a playground for the rich and famous. A private home, the magnificent Arts and Crafts style Victorian has been open to the public only a few times in its 98 year history. The tour includes professional actors (Theatre Under the Stars) portraying some of Bethlehem's famous characters of yesteryear, weaving historic facts with colorful stories of the town's heyday. SLED HOCKEY CLINIC, LYNDON CENTER VT
Saturday December 6 4:00-6:00 PM Fenton Chester Ice Arena, 145 College Road. Sled hockey is a fast, adaptive version of traditional ice hockey. Players sit on a sled with two hockey skate blades under their seat and use 2 hockey sticks to propel the sled and handle the puck. As with the stand-up version of the game, sled hockey involves 5-on-5 play with goalies, high speeds, finesse plays, and plenty of contact. Equipment supplied. All abilities welcome.
