A classic nor'easter could bring blizzard conditions and more than a foot of snow to some parts of the Northeast Tuesday, along with big disruptions for travel.

Meteorologists say the storm could dump 12 to 20 inches in parts of New England.  Wind will be a factor, as well.

The heaviest snowfall in New Hampshire is expected Tuesday afternoon and evening.

Tuesday also happens to be Town Meeting day in many communities across the state. Voters are scheduled to head to the polls to weigh in on town budgets and local elections.

The town of Atkinson has already rescheduled its Town Meeting election for Tuesday, March 21, and other communities may follow.

WMUR reports officials in Londonderry are considering their options.

Town Manager Kevin Smith says the decision to postpone Town Meeting will be made by the moderator. If it is postponed, the town will be able to get the word out through phone calls, the town website, and TV.
