N.H. DES Warns of Air Pollution Due to Heat Wave

DES

New Hampshire's Department of Environmental Services is expecting air pollution concentrations to reach unhealthy levels for sensitive individuals in most of the state.

The conditions are forecast for Monday. Air quality conditions are expected to continue through an expected heat wave, through July 6.

Sensitive individuals include children and older adults; anyone with lung disease such as asthma, emphysema, and bronchitis; and people who are active outdoors.

The state forecasts unhealthy concentrations of ground-level ozone and moderate levels of fine particle pollution expected statewide.
