N.H. Cities to Consider Keno on Local Ballots

AP

The electronic gambling game is up for a vote in 10 cities - including Manchester and Nashua. Franklin already had their election last month, and Keno overwhelmingly passed there.

Officials in Portsmouth rejected Keno. And Lebanon will consider it in March with the state’s towns.

The state legislature passed a bill this summer legalizing Keno as a way of raising money to help pay for full-day kindergarten programs statewide.

The head of the state lottery commission expects to have the games up and running in cities that approved it as early as next month.

BELOW is a map of cities that have either approved or rejected Keno games, of as Nov. 7, 2017.
