Newbury Voters Pass Keno After Town Recount

Newbury voters have passed Keno, after all.

The keno question at the Newbury town election failed on a tie vote last week.

A recount conducted Monday revealed one ballot that officials said was clearly meant to support the Lottery game operation at restaurants that have a liquor license.

Thirty-six other towns passed Keno last week during annual Town Meetings.
