Zuckermann Harpsichords International in Stonington, Conn. has become the epicenter of harpsichord production in the United States.

The 50-year-old company has a storied history. It started in New York and began sending clients harpsichord kits so they could assemble the instruments themselves. Later, it moved to Connecticut and began reproducing historically accurate antique harpsichords, made popular by the early music movement.

Harriet Jones of Here & Now contributor WNPR visited the workshop, the largest in the U.S., and met the harpsichord building team.
