Governor Chris Sununu has been busy over the past few days signing more than 30 bills into law including the state’s next two year budget.
Less than a week after the House and Senate passed the state budget - Sununu made it official by putting his signature on it. He called the spending plan bold and innovative and says it meets the needs of Granite Staters.
Sununu also signed other key bills this week, including one that adds post-traumatic stress disorder to the state’s medical marijuana program, and another that makes it easier for those with substance abuse disorder to get coverage for medication assisted treatment.
Another bill that’s now law allows prison guards to give full body scans to inmates re-entering state run jails and prisons.
