New Hampshire saw a slight uptick in the number of residential foreclosures in March, but the market as a whole continues to stabilize.

The latest figures from the New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority show 165 foreclosure deeds in March. That’s up about 24 percent from the previous month. But the March figure is well below the number of foreclosures for March 2014.

New Hampshire Housing says it expects 1,500 to 1,800 total foreclosure deeds this year. The total number of foreclosures has dropped in New Hampshire each year since 2010, when the state saw just under 4,000 foreclosure deeds.
