Democratic candidate Molly Kelly officially filed to run for New Hampshire governor Friday afternoon.
Kelly entered the Secretary of State's office in Concord to cheers from supporters. The former state senator has collected endorsements from several prominent Democrats in the state, including Senators Jeanne Shaheen and Maggie Hassan and Manchester Mayor Joyce Craig.
Moving forward, Kelly said her main talking points will include protecting the right to vote, standing with Planned Parenthood, and attracting younger folks to the Granite State.
When asked about fellow Democratic candidate Steve Marchand, Kelly diverted to talking about her supporters.
"We are talking about the issues that are most important to them. And they are very energized and enthused also about beating Chris Sununu in November," Kelly said.
