The Debate Gets Graded

Last night, millions watched, listened, or otherwise followed last night’s the first debate between President Obama and GOP nominee Mitt Romney. Romney appears the clear winner on Twitter, in snap polls, and even in President Obama’s campaign. Yesterday we spoke to Laura Rochette, co-advisor of the debate team at St. Paul’s School, the prep school where Massachusetts Senator John Kerry got his debating chops. We called her before classes started this morning to get her impression, and find out what her team might takeaway from last night’s debate.

Virginia Prescott is the Gracie Award-winning host of Word of Mouth, Civics 101, The 10-Minute Writers Workshop podcasts, and the Writers on A New England Stage series on New Hampshire Public Radio.
