PHIL ROEDER VIA FLICKR CREATIVE COMMONS

New Hampshire towns and cities are marking Memorial Day with ceremonies and parades from morning until night.

Communities hosting parades on Monday include Concord and Nashua. Manchester's parade kicks off at 2 p.m., while several towns, including Bow and Hollis will have parades early Monday evening.

U.S. Sens. Kelly Ayotte and Jeanne Shaheen will be among those attending a Memorial Day ceremony at the state veterans' home in Tilton.

Gov. Maggie Hassan has directed that all flags be flown at half-staff until noon on Monday and all day on Saturday, May 30, in observance of Memorial Day.
