Already postponed once, the town of Rochester has now canceled its 2014 Independence Day fireworks.
The police department announced on its Facebook page that high winds made it too dangerous to stage the fireworks on Saturday night. Heavy rains on Friday forced the town to push it to Saturday.  The rain and winds connected to Hurricane Arthur helped postpone fireworks celebrations around New England.
