The Alloy Orchestra brings silent cinema to life with modern scores for old movies. The three-man band will be in town Saturday evening to perform their new music for a newly re-mastered version of Lon Chaney Sr.'s classic "Phantom of the Opera". It's part of the Somewhat North of Boston Film Festival. We'll talk with members of the band about their work.

We'll also talk with filmmaker Ernie Webb, whose movie Heavy Metal will show during the S.N.O.B. festival. The documentary explores the effects of mining on Indian communities in Northern Quebec.
