NHPR Drawing Rules and Regulations

No purchase or online entry necessary to be entered in drawings. Void where prohibited. Open only to legal residents of the 50 states of the U.S. (including the District of Columbia) and Canada, 18 or older. Various sweepstakes will be conducted beginning at 12:00 am on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 and end at the completion of New Hampshire Public Radio's 2008 Spring Membership Campaign.

All times referenced in this sweepstakes are Eastern Time.

ELIGIBILITY: Employees of Sweepstakes Entities (defined as New Hampshire Public Radio, its service providers, and those involved in the development, production, including prize suppliers, implementation and distribution of this sweepstakes, and their advertising & promotion agencies & each of their parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, each of their officers, directors, shareholders, employees, advisors, assignees, agents, licensees, and representatives & any other person/entity associated with sweepstakes, and their immediate families & members of their same households) are ineligible.

SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS: Winner(s) will be selected in a random drawing at the conclusion of the each sweepstakes period or not later than April 11, 2008. Once submitted, entries become the sole property of the NHPR and will not be returned. Winners will be notified by phone. If potential winner cannot be reached after 10 days from first notification attempt, or if an entrant is found to be ineligible, or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, such prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.

COSTA RICA DRAWING: Prize includes a locally hosted adventure making stops in San Jose, Arenal, Monteverde and Manuel Antonion, 4 star property accomodations and rout-trip air transportation from Boston. Hotel taxes are included with prize. Availability restrictions apply. Tour will also include some locally hosted guided tours. Other days are optional and may include additional fees. Travel dates must be chosen by May 15, 2008, and travel must be complete by November 15, 2008. Travel is subject to availability in lowest price class of service and accomodation category and may not be available for all dates, so be flexible with date choicesd. Airline taxes and any fuel surcharges are the responsibility of the winner. Prize is not transferable and has no cash value.

GENERAL: By participating in NHPR Drawings, participants agree that New Hampshire Public Radio, their agents and employees have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind which result from use of the prize, or by participation in the contest. Prize must be taken in the time noted in ward letters to be sent to recipients. Prizes are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash. There can be no substitutions for a prize of equal or greater value. Acceptance of the prize indicates acceptance of all the contingencies inherent to the prize offered, including the date and time period specified. Winner agrees to abide by all contingencies and components of the prize or forfeit the prize. New Hampshire Public Radio may use winner's name and likenesses for publicity purposes without further compensation. Taxes and expenses as a result of winning any prize are the winner's responsibility. Winners will receive an IRS form 1099 with the above stated value at year-end.

RESTRICTIONS: By participating in NHPR drawings, a participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, and by all decisions of the contest judges.

Winner is responsible for any applicable sales taxes, license fees, and any other expenses not specified as provided; such as food, tours, additional transportation, additional lodging, tips, replacement of any lost items, etc.
