It looks like New Hampshire may soon have more company at the beginning of the Presidential Primaries.

The Democratic National Committee held public meetings over the weekend as part of a year old commission to review the primary process.

New Hampshire's first in the nation status has been criticized because of the state's size and because of its small minority populations.

Attorney Michael Atkins is a member of the State Democratic Party's Primary Task Force and he attended the meeting in Washington, DC.

He tells NHPR's Mark Bevis that if there was one thing the Commission's Members could agree on, it's that the current system needs to be changed.
