From his years as an environmental educator and director of an organic farming school, Gary Hirshberg became a yogurt maker and founder of Stonyfield Farm, where he saw his company grow to its current $172 million annual sales level with distribution in all 50 states. He has won numerous awards for corporate and environmental leadership, including the 1999 Global Green USA�s Cross Millennium Award, inspired by Mikhail Gorbachev. He was named Business NH Magazine�s �Business Person of the Year� and is the founder of The Social Venture Institute, a boot camp for entrepreneurs.
