Businessman Jaymie Durnan of Jaffrey served in Washington as Special Assistant to Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz. He enjoyed unusually close proximity to both men as plans for the the Iraq War got underway. He tells John Walters what he learned about the relationship between planning and strategy as a result of his experience.
