A new report commissioned by the New Hampshire Workforce Housing Council has concluded that New Hampshire needs more affordable housing.

But this time the authors of the report didn't depend on working families for the data.

They went to the business community.

Ask anyone with a middle or working class income who's been looking for a place to live and you'll hear the same thing.

The affordable housing market is tight.

And it's going to get tighter.

The pay for the 4 fastest growing occupations is less than 25 thousand dollars a year.

The authors of this new study surveyed businesses statewide.

And they found that the lack of affordable housing is hurting businesses too.
