Lawmakers have plans to spend much of the weekend trying to figure out a compromise among various education funding proposals.

The question of how New Hampshire pays for education seems never-ending and sometimes unsolvable.

But Vanderbilt Univerity Education and Public Policy Professor James Guthrie reminds NHPR's Mark Bevis, that New Hampshire is not alone.
