Voter Numbers: Cause for GOP Concern?

The biggest surge in voter registrations is yet to come but the latest numbers as of the September 14th primary have prompted political scientist Dante Scala to so some historical analysis. In the period since last January, the number of Democrats and Undeclared voters combined was up more than 16 thousand. But the number of Republican voters barely rose at all. In his blog, Granite Prof, the St. Anselm College researcher writes that the meager rise among Republicans bodes ill for President Bush in the general election.
