Conservation Group Issues Survey Results

If you care about New Hampshire's environment and you vote, you may want to check out the results of a survey of gubernatorial candidates.

The survey was put together by the Granite State Conservation Voters Alliance.

NHPR'S Mark Bevis has more.

Each of the candidates running for governor answered the questionnaire.

Except one.

Governor Craig Benson.

Former state senator Rick Russman is a founder of the Granite State Conservation Voters Alliance.

He says the questions on the survey run the gamut of environmental issues facing the state, from L-CHIP to mercury pollution.

Former state senator Rick Russman chaired the Senate Environment Committee for eight years.

Russman describes himself as a lifelong Republican and he's a founder of the Granite State Conservation Voters Alliance.
