Judicial Conduct Committee to See Changes

The task force charged with reviewing the operations of the Judicial Conduct Committee has issued its report. Among its recommendations: the Committee should be re-established as more independent from the court system, with its own staff and budget; and appointees to the Committee should no longer come solely from Supreme Court recommendations, but should be chosen by a group including the NH Bar Association, the Legislature and the Supreme Court.
