A Voice of Her Own

If there is something going on in the Seacoast region, chances are Deidre Randall is involved. She is a book publicist, an organizer for the Prescott Park Folk Festival and Writers in the Round, a weekly collaborative performance between poets and songwriters. But beyond her work as an organizer and promoter, she is also a musician and poet in her own right. On her new CD, Passport, Deidre explores the edgier side of folk music. Her CD release party will be held at the newly refurbished Stone Church in Newmarket, on August 6th. She will also perform at the Prescott Park Folk Festival, to be held this Sunday from 10-4.
