The coming of the railroad in the 1800s changed the way New Englanders lived their lives and did business with their neighbors. We look at how the train helped shape the course of New Hampshire history. Laura's guest is Stu Wallace, a professor of history at the New Hampshire Technical Institute and Louis Edmonds, a Nashua-based Trustee for the Railroad Museum of New England. Well also hear from Paul Giblin, Project Consultant for the Flying Yankee Restoration Project in Glen, NH.
