Both the House and the Senate passed a bill that would allow pharmacists to sell emergency contraception to women without a doctor's prescription. Governor Benson vetoed the bill, but 2/3 support in both the House and the Senate would make the bill law. To talk about emergency contraception, Trish is joined by Jennifer Frizzell, public affairs director for Planned Parenthood of Northern New England and Phyllis Woods, Republican State Representative from Dover. We will also hear from Ron Petrin, pharmacist at the Bedford Pharmacy and commissioner with the New Hampshire Board of Pharmacy.
