The Ocean Report

The first report on the health of the ocean in 35 years has been released. We'll take a look at what the report found and what recommendations it makes for heading into the future. Mike's guests are Andy Rosenberg, a professor at the Institute for Study of Earth, Oceans, and Space at UNH. He is also on the U.S. Commission on Ocean Policy, who released the report. Richard Langan, Director of the UNH/NOAA Cooperative Institute of New England Mariculture and Fisheries and Co-Director of the UNH/NOAA Cooperative Institute for Coastal and Estuarine Environmental Technology. We'll also hear from Bill Hogarth, Assistant Administrator for Fisheries at the National Marine Fisheries Service at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA Fisheries).
