Granite state counties have recently found themselves in a financial pickle. Higher bond ratings and the largest national gap between state Medicare reimbursements and nursing home costs have made it difficult for counties to balance their books and keep up regional services. We'll look at the role of New Hampshire counties and some of the recent trials they're facing.
