Last year's American League playoff between the Red Sox and the Yankees seemed to many to be the World Series. The Red Sox lost that one in game seven. This year, as the familiar cry goes, will be the year. We'll look at the team's chances to go all the way in 2004 and what last season meant. Trish Anderton hosts. Her guests are Vin Sylvia, Deputy Managing Director of Sports for The Union Leader and Sunday News, Pete Foley, Teacher of Sports Law at Franklin Pierce College who also contributes sports commentaries to NHPR, and Glenn Stout, Co-author of ?Red Sox Century: The definitive history of baseball?s most storied franchise- expanded and updated? and Series Editor for The Best American Sports Writing books. We'll also hear from Red Sox legend Johnny Pesky.
