Why do candidates for office say "I approve this message" on their campaign ads? It's all part of the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act, better known as McCain Feingold. It's been two years since the act was signed but only a few months since the Supreme Court deemed it constitutional. We'll take a good look at this rather confusing subject and we'll ask how the presidential candidates are doing in their race for money. Mike's guest is Tony Corrado, Charles A. Dana Professor of Government at Colby College (http://colby.edu/profile/ajcorrad) and Visiting Fellow at the Brookings Institute (http://www.brookings.edu/scholars/acorrado.htm).
