The theme is National Women's History Month! The show features the voices of women. In the line-up are: Deb Navas, Poet Laureate Marie Harris, Sy Montgomery, and Bob Begiebing as one of his female protagonists.

Excerpt: "The Smell of Dead Trout" from Things We Lost, Gave Away, Bought High, and Sold Low (Southern Methodist University Press). Deb Navas lives in Newmarket, New Hampshire. She has published many short stories, two of which won PEN/NEA awards and were featured on NPR?s The Sound of Writing. Her most recent book is an historical non-fiction, Murdered By His Wife. For the past two years she has been working on a novel on the same subject. Deb Navas is a freelance editor and writer of business and technical articles.

Excerpts from: The Adventures of Allegra Fullerton, University of New England Press. In Victorian America (mid 1800?s), New England was host to many artists who worked as itinerant portrait painters. Bob Begiebing researched the lives of the few women in the field and created a composite character for his novel The Adventures of Allegra Fullerton. This is the second in an on-going trilogy of New England historical fiction, which began with The Strange Death of Mistress Coffin. Each novel in the collection covers a different century of American History. Bob lives in Newfields, New Hampshire and teaches at New Hampshire College.
