What could you do with $25? In Africa, a well-placed $25 loan could re-build an entire life and save a whole family from poverty. These very small loans, known as micro-loans, have been called the most effective aid for developing countries. A third-world entrepreneur can often turn a tiny amount of money- by American standards- into a small business with a sustainable income. When businesswoman and Wilmot resident Dana Dakin turned 60, she wanted to give back to the world.
