Jeremy LeClair (sax) and Nate Horton (drums) are the two members of an experimental music duo called Plasmids and Phages. All their music is improvised. They use an impressive array of electronic gear to create multiple layers of sound and an incredible variety of sound. Their first CD was recorded in a single, completely improvised two-hour studio session.
The two musicians have played a variety of music with many bands in Portsmouth, including jazz. They launched Plasmids and Phages when they had a gig, but didn't have a bass player.
