No Child Left Behind
By Mike Arnold on Wednesday, March 3, 2004.
From Utah to Maine, states across the country are taking stands against No Child Left Behind. In New Hampshire, there's a renewed effort in the legislature to make sure tax dollars don't go towards paying for NCLB. We'll talk about these challenges to NCLB and we'll find out how much money the federal government is making available to states. Mike's guests are Peter Burling, House Democratic Leader from Cornish, and Michael J. Sentance, Secretary's Regional Representative from the U.S. Department of Education.
