David Brancaccio has been the host of the public radio program ?Marketplace? since 1993; you can hear it on NHPR, weeknights at 6:00 p.m., right before ?The Front Porch.? He grew up not far from New Hampshire, in Maine; and he?ll return to the region on Friday, May 4th for an appearance at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester. He joined us from the ?Marketplace? studios in Los Angeles to talk about his program, their attempt to report on every facet of the world of business and commerce. He also relates stories from a long career in radio, and reflects on what to make of the recent downturns on Wall Street.
