We continue our series on the issues and the Democratic Candidates for President with a look at those affecting gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered Americans. Gay Marriage has become one of the greatest hot button issues of 2003, and many feel the issue alone could make or break the elections of 2004. We'll look at what the candidates are saying, and not saying about issues surrounding GLBT including Don't Ask, Don't tell, hate crimes and faith-based initiatives. Laura's guests are Andy Smith, director of the University of New Hampshire Survey Center Fred Kuhr, Editor of In News Weekly, New England's only regional GLBT Newspaper and Representative Jim Splaine, an openly gay State Representative from Portsmouth.
