Maine Voters Face Casino Referendum

The welcome sign to the state of Maine includes the slogan: "The Way Life Should Be."

But this Fall Mainers are divided over whether life as they know it should include thousands of slot machines and a $650 million dollar resort casino.

For years, voters in the Pine Tree State have resisted temptations to allow an expansion of gambling.

But as Correspondent Susan Chisholm reports...this year the lure of jobs is a powerful incentive.
