The National and State Commanders of the American Legion, one of the country's largest veterans' organizations, join us to talk about the state of veterans' health care. With a new generation of veterans soon to return from Iraq and Afghanistan, cuts to national veteran's health care benefits and long waiting lists at VA hospitals, we discuss the challenges and hopes for the future of caring for our veterans. Laura's guests are John Brieden, National Commander for the American Legion and Roland Patnode, Commander of the American Legion of New Hampshire.
