Women and the Ballot Box
By Laura Knoy on Wednesday, August 27, 2003.
Suffragists won the right to vote 83 years ago this week. We'll look at how women cast their ballots today, how candidates try to appeal to them and the so called "gender gap". Laura's guests are Debbie Walch, Director of the Center for American Women and Politics, part of the Eagleton Institute of Politics at Rutgers University and Nora Bredes, Director of the Anthony Center for Women's Leadership at the University of Rochester.
