Donald Hall has lived on his grandparents' farm in Wilmot for many years. New Hampshire permeates his works. He's just published a new collection of short stories, Willow Temple. We spoke with him last year about his most recent book of poems, The Painted Bed. Many of the poems are about Jane Kenyon, his late wife and fellow poet. She died in 1995, but she remains a powerful presence in his life, even as he begins to form new relationships.
