Sammy James of Nashua, NH, is a musician and composer who specializes in synthesized, instrumental music. And, though much of his music has a strong ?techno? feel, he doesn?t think of it as dance music; it?s intended for private listening at home. He?s released two CDs, the latest of which is called ?Scarabs of Lust.? He talked about the process of translating melodies and musical ideas into songs, and about how he prefers synthesized music over acoustic; the technology at his disposal increases his ability to create the musical effects he?s looking for.
