A Ride on the Oldest Floating Post Office

Lake Winnipesaukee is home to America's oldest floating US post office. The 60 year-old Sophie C is the latest in the line of mail boats serving island residents since 1892.

She delivers mail to islands on the lake's north end. But that's not the only cargo the island residents look forward to.

New Hampshire Public Radio's Shannon Mullen went along on Sophie C's Saturday morning mail route and has this story.
