Will Gov. Benson Follow Gov. Thomson's Lead?

House and Senate negotiators have reached agreement on a new state budget for New Hampshire.

The deal cuts about 50 (m) million dollars from the package passed by the Senate.

It's not clear yet if governor Benson will go along with the compromise.

But if Benson does veto the budget, UNH History Professor R. Stuart Wallace tell's NHPR's Mark Bevis, Benson won't be the first.
