'Tis the Season for West Nile Virus

The warm weather is slowly returning to New Hampshire. And with spring comes black flies and mosquitoes. And for the past several years, mosquitoes have brought with them news accounts of West Nile virus. Dr. Jose Montero is the chief of disease control at the Department of Health and Human Services. He says state officials will continue to monitor for the spread of the disease. But he tells NHPR's Mark Bevis chances are good we'll see an increase in the number of people affected. Post a comment
