The Old Man of the Mountain was a merely a series of ledges that miraculously clung to the side of Cannon Mountain, but it was also a source of identity for Granite Staters. New Hampshire State Geologist, David Wunsch and historians Mark Foyes and Stewart Wallace talk about the natural and cultural significance of the great Profile.

The New Hampshire Historical Society will host a special 'Old Man' exhibit beginning May7.
