Nitrogen Pollution Still Plagues New England

The folks who brought the issue of acid rain to national attention say the problem isn't over.

Scientists at the Hubbard Brook Research Foundation have published a new study showing that nitrogen pollution is seriously damaging our forests, lakes and streams.

In addition, excess nitrogen is choking our coastal waters and killing fish.

Kathy Fallon Lambert is Hubbard Brook's Executive Director.

She describe the study's findings to NHPR's Mark Bevis.
