On April 25th-27th, the New Hampshire Writer’s Project is hosting a conference called Poetry and Politics. It will mark the first ever gathering of the state Poets Laureate. John talks to Marilyn Nelson of Connecticut and Baron Wormser of Maine about their writing the office of the Poet Laureate and the connection between poetry and politics.
