Life as an Afghani-American

Tamim Ansary?s recent book is ?West of Kabul, East of New York? www.fsgbooks.com, and was written as a reflection after September 11th. Ansary was born in Afghanistan and emigrated to the U.S. as a teenager. He writes about how growing up bicultural is like, ?straddling a crack in the earth?.
