Today on the Front Porch, John Walters' guests give insight to space traval and the loss of Columbia.

Jay Buckey is a former astronaut who once flew on the space shuttle Columbia. He's now an associate professor of medicine at Dartmouth College. He's done research on the physical and psychological effects of space flight.

Jeanne Cavelos is a science fiction writer and editor from New Hampshire. She used to work at NASA's Astronaut Training Division. She talks about her experience at NASA, and how the science fiction community is reacting to the Columbia disaster.
