A new proposal for an official state poem begs the question: How do you capture the essence of the Granite State in a poem? Is it about people, mountains, politics? We'll talk about how poets portray a place and what they find inspiring about our state. Laura’s guests are David Watters, English professor at the University of New Hampshire www.unh.edu, Cynthia Huntington, poet and English professor at Dartmouth College www.dartmouth.edu and Donald Hall, former New Hampshire Poet Laureate.
