In her 40 years as a published writer, Pulitzer prize recipient Maxine Kumin has put out 13 poetry collections, several novels, and more than 20 children?s books. Her most recent book, ?The Long Marriage,? is her first since a 1998 accident that nearly ended her life. She talks about her life, her writing and her long recuperation. This interview originally aired in November 2001.
